Welcome to The Real Estate Capital Institute®   — dedicated to independently monitoring realty capital markets.  The Institute’s research is based on the analysis of current income-property debt/equity market data.  Funding parameters -- including yields and pricing — are posted for apartment, industrial, retail and office properties.   Historical data spanning more than two decades is also available.

Current rates and observations are found in the Scoreboard ®  section.  Rates are updated daily and observations are regularly posted.

Historic rate information is identified in the Key Rates section.  General financial indices such as treasuries, Bank Prime and LIBOR are monitored dating back to 1990.  Real estate debt and equity market data is referenced from 2000, including mortgage and capitalization rates.  Earlier data is available by special request from the Institute’s Archives.

Tools and More Help provide supplemental information such as mortgage constant tables, loan checklist, underwriting parameters table and other sources of realty capital data.

If you’re always “on the go” and need to hear current rates throughout the day, please feel free to call The Real Estate CAPITAL Rateline (RecentRates.com)  at 7RE-CAPITAL (773-227-4825).
